今回僕が紹介するのは嵐山にある竹林です。
This time, I’d like to introduce the bamboo forest in Arashiyama.
僕が写真を撮りに行った時は夕方だったんですが、思ったより人がいなくて自分のペースで見て回ることができました。
When I went there to take photos, it was in the evening. Surprisingly, there weren’t many people, so I was able to look around at my own pace.
竹林の中は人がいるのになぜか静かで、落ち着いた気分になれました。
線路が竹林の中を通っていて、竹と電車のコラボレーションがおもしろいです。
Even though there were people in the bamboo forest, it was somehow quiet, and I felt very calm and relaxed. There’s a railway that runs through the forest, and the combination of bamboo and trains was quite interesting.
背が高い竹ばかりなので日陰が沢山あって涼しかったです。でも、蚊がいるようなので虫除けスプレーをしておかないとゆっくりできなさそうです。
Since the bamboo trees are very tall, there was a lot of shade, which made it feel cool. However, there seemed to be mosquitoes, so it might be hard to relax without using insect repellent spray.
まだまだ暑いこの季節です。竹林へ来て小さな涼をとるものもいいかもしれません。
It’s still hot this season, but visiting the bamboo forest might be a nice way to enjoy a small moment of coolness.
